The second OFF-season event of the series, in collaboration with Fondazione Biellezza for their 3rd edition of BISS – Biella, Saperi e Sapori, presents a truly exciting solo recital by cellist Ángela Aguareles from Spain. Described by Philippe Jaroussky as “a young musician of already great maturity”, she will perform a wonderful and diverse program from Bach to Ligeti.
Located on a hill about 5km from the center of Biella and known for its vineyards since the 1200s, Castello di Montecavallo has been a site of wine production since 1830. The project, entrusted to the architect Dupuy, represents one of the rare Neo-Gothic expressions found in the area.
